Building Local Diversity

This lunchbox sized apple is the perfect size for little hands. Pixie Crunch is a deep red jewel with yellowish flesh that is sweet, rich, and spicy. The texture is exceptionally crisp and breaking, comparable to Honeycrisp.

The tree is immune to apple scab but vulnerable to cedar apple rust. While the leaves can get rust, the apples themselves don't seem to be bothered by it.

Pixie Crunch is also a very dense apple and is generally not bothered by coddling moth or stink bugs probably due to how hard it is.
